New Audio Books

Oakfield Public Library recently joined in with other Winnefox Library System libraries that offer a "rotating" audio book collection.

Every few months we'll receive a large selection of books on tape & books on CD. These items may be checked out like anything else in our collection. After a few months, we send these out and receive a new collection.

This is another great way for us to offer a larger selection to our patrons!

Join Us as a Friend!

The Oakfield Public Library is exploring the possibility starting a friends of the library group.  These groups are an integral part of any library's success.  Friends groups are organized to provide support for the library through volunteer service, fundraising and advocacy.

As we move forward with this new step for the library, please consider committing a small amount of your time for this very worthwhile cause.

Story Times on Tuesday Mornings

Story time for the summer months will be held each Tuesday at 10 a.m. Check our calendar for story time themes.

Activities may include...
• songs
• finger plays
• make-believe, and
• crafts

Story time is a great way for young children to learn new things, as well as socialize with others.

Note: all children must be accompanied by an adult.

We welcome guest readers for story times.
