The only federal tax forms available for free at the library are:
The library will not be receiving any instruction booklets or other forms / schedules. However, reference copies of 1040, 1040A, and 1040 EZ booklets are available to view.
Library staff will be happy to print out any forms you may need (at a cost of $.10 per page). Alternately, patrons may order federal tax forms by mail by calling 800-829-3676. Forms are also available online at: http://www.irs.gov/Forms-&-Pubs
Wisconsin tax forms and booklets have arrived and are available for the public. Patrons may also request state tax forms and booklets by calling 608-266-1961 or online at:http://www.dor.state.wi.us/html/formpub.html

Those are the sites the library recommends using on its computers, so you don’t lose information if your computer time is up.
- Wisconsin FreeFile – more information Warning: You must complete the Wisconsin e-File form in one computer session or you will need to start over.Adobe Acrobat 5.0 or higher is required for the free file option.
- State and Federal Web-based Filing – find a service Some services are free if you qualify and you access the sites through the IRS. All services listed here will work in a public library setting, and all can file both state and Federal taxes for Wisconsin residents. Schedule and income limits vary from site to site, and fees range from $10 to $50 for federal returns.
